Ashley Anderson - the Shark

About Me: Photography has always been a creative outlet for me. It started out with a point-and-shoot birthday present, and eventually lead to me getting my first SLR. I am an eager photography student, who is working on finishing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Digital Photography. I recently attended the Art Institute of Hollywood, and am looking to transfer and finish school locally (or at least somewhere in Oregon!), rather than out of state. Outside of photography, I spend my time with my long-time boyfriend, Dustin, and our devil-may-care cat, Indy. I also enjoy meeting new people, hanging out with friends, and road trips. If I could live anywhere in the world, I would pick Disneyland. Wouldn't you want to wake up and immidiately ride Pirates of the Caribbean, if you could? :)

Weapon of Choice: Canon Rebel XTi SLR.
Scopes: 18-55mm lens, and a 75-300mm zoom lens.

(Bang-Bang!)

The Shark: Jason actually chose to make this logo for me. It's based on both my adoration and fear of Great White Sharks, and my love for the film JAWS. It's pretty handy that it seems to match up with his Ocean-dwelling Squid. :) Fun fact: Great White's regularly lift only their heads above water to gaze either at prey, or out of curiosity. This has been dubbed as, "spy hopping," and is also something many photographers do, in a sense. ;)

Here are some examples of my photography:
